Something cheerful

Get well cards can be tricky, especially when you want to give one to a person who has a chronic or terminal illness. “Get well soon” does not seem an appropriate saying for those times. However, a cheerful card or even a funny one can fit perfectly at these times.

Here’s a group-sized card I made this week for a friend.

Feel Goods cardYou can make a similar one with the chalkboard paper currently on the clearance rack (item #137786, on sale for $3.99 instead of $9.95) plus the Feel Goods stamp set (wood item #131916 for $32, or clear set item #129684 for $23)

To get the chalkboard look, just stamp and emboss in white, then sponge a bit of white ink on for the rustic look.  Pearls and burlap ribbon round out the look too.

I also used a few retired papers, and some glitter and the retired butterfly embosslits.
